Yes, all our courses have been approved by MOE.

Are the instructors MOE certified?

Yes, all the instructors are certified by MOE to teach in the appropriate subjects. The instructors have many years teaching experience in government and private schools. Furthermore, many of our teachers have extensive industry experience in the public and private sector. They bring a wealth of knowledge right into the classrooms and laboratory.

Will the school provide textbooks for the students?

Sorry, the school is unable to provide textbooks to students. However the school will be using MOE-approved textbooks during classes, and students are recommended to purchase such books for their study.

How important are practicals?

The importance of practicals cannot be understated. The school prides itself on its well-equipped laboratory, and its expertise in providing students with hands-on experience on science experiments. There is a weekly practical session for science students up to Sec 4 level. Fortnightly practical sessions will be conducted for JC2 science students. (Please note that there shall NOT be any practical lessons during the re-opening week.)

When are the institute's semesters and holidays?

The institute basically follows the 2-semester system adopted by the MOE, except that for the June holidays we are closed only for the 3rd and 4th week. All government gazetted holidays are observed, and so are special school holidays viz Youth Day, Day after National Day, and Teachers Day. A detailed holiday listing is available at this website.
